Biography
Jon became director of Fontwell Physio in 2018 after working at the clinic for 12 years. He gained his Physiotherapy degree in 2001 and began his career in London. Following on from his rotations, Jon moved to the prestigious King Edward VII hospital before settling at Fontwell Physio in 2006. In 2010 he returned to university to study for his Pg Cert in Trauma and Orthopaedics under world renowned upper-limb specialist Professor Len Funk. Jon is also now a first contact practitioner (FCP) at our local GP surgery having gained a distinction in his post graduate certificate in First Contact Practice at the University of Essex in 2025.
Jon has a special interest in shoulder and upper limb rehab as well as lower limb sports injuries and post operative recovery programmes. He has worked closely alongside our local surgeons for a number of years and continues to maintain close working relationships with them. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Chichester on the masters programme.
Outside of work Jon is married with two daughters and, time allowing, enjoys golf and scuba diving.
