Merlin joined the Fontwell Physiotherapy team this year, bringing with her a strong academic foundation and a passion for delivering patient-centred care. She completed her BSc (Hons) in Physiological Sciences at Newcastle University in 2019 and went on to achieve a Distinction and be the top scorer of her year on the MSc Physiotherapy programme at the University of Liverpool.
Merlin is a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP). She has a particular interest in spinal and shoulder rehabilitation and paediatrics. Her clinical experience includes time in specialist services at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she worked in rheumatology and chronic pain management.
Committed to ongoing development, Merlin regularly attends accredited courses to enhance her therapeutic and rehabilitation skillset.
Outside of work, Merlin is an enthusiastic ultra-runner and skier who also enjoys ski touring, hiking, swimming, and cycling. She’s currently training for her first 70.3 Half Ironman, which she plans to complete in the summer of 2026.
